2012 has seen the number of International organisations expanding in Ireland. Non life insurance companies are also in hiring mode. We have seen further demand in Insurance organisations for candidates who have multilingual skills across a variety of areas – Claims, Administration and Customer service.
Salary survey
Financial vacancies remain a large focus for us within the Insurance Industry, with other related areas such as compliance and risk forming a large part of our open vacancies. Business analysts candidates remain in demand for both permanent and contract vacancies. Multilingual candidates for more junior insurance roles are also increasingly sought after give our involvement with International Insurers.
Our research has found that the financial area will remain a large focus and as Clients continue to make additions to their Risk teams, in particular to focus on solvency II project work. Project Managers and Business Analysts will remain in demand. The multilingual area within Insurance companies will continue to be in great demand in the future. We are regularly working on multilingual positions for Claims, Administration and Customer service. The main languages that are in high demand are German, French, Dutch, Swedish and Italian.
The reinsurance industry in Dublin is quickly becoming more competitive and will continue to do so in the near future. Life and non life continue to grow while large multinationals continue to have a strong presence here. We are optimistic about continued growth within the Insurance area
